Arthur Van Menen was born in Kortryk, Belgium in 1912. Van Menen studied in The Academie Des Beaux Arts in Kortryk. In 1940, he worked in Berlin, Germany. He was confined during WWII and could not continue his art studies until after he was released. After he was released, he continued his Art Studies in Berlin. The painting below was painted sometime in the 1940s and the county of origin was Austria. This is an original oil canvas painting currently titled ''Winter Wonderland''.
